I have loved using Eco Tam for at least 10 years, The Face Tan Water being my favorite for its ease of use, & it doesn't make me break out. Application of the Mousse I appreciated as well.

However, I think my Invisible Tan Lotion went bad. It was kind of runny & separated so I shook it up & applied, after exfoliating etc properly. I figured that since it was all organic ingredients it wouldn't hurt to try. Well the next day I had dark spots, almost sore like all over my legs! They weren’t just darker age spots they actually became sores. They didn't hurt but were not pretty to say the least.

Do you know what caused this? I looked all over for some sort of expiration date but found none.
I don’t have a receipt but can guess I’ve had it about six years & kept it in cool dark cabinet.

I purchased the medium/dark with mitt. I have neutral skin tone which leans a little towards light olive. The product was easy to apply but the smell is quite overpowering and continued to linger in my bathroom for a couple of hours. That smell stays with you for quite some time. Yes, that ghastly fake tan smell. It did not transfer on clothing or bed sheets which is a plus however when the color fully developed it was a bit on the orangey side. I've tried numerous self-tanners in the past. This year I wanted to try something organic. Along with Invisible tan I purchased another organic product that has no fake tan smell however it takes multiple applications to build. The search continues. I did also purchase the face tan water which I really do like. No smell, dries quickly, and lovely color which can be used year-round.

Appreciate the natural and human health ethos of this company. The product is great, but FYI, harder to use than the instructions suggest. Just try it on yourself a couple of times before youre actually out showing skin. It goes on clear, which makes it tough to tell if it's been spread evenly, and takes a long time to dry and reveal how thickly you've applied it to different areas. It works really well though, just takes some practice and patience. I'm very pale (bordering translucent) and medium looks very close to the natural sun tan I usually get by the end of summer.

I mainly use the mousse, but I like to use the invisible tan in between mousse applications. Winter skin was a little too light for me, so I like to use this to extend tan. I also really like it on nights that I feel lazy and don’t feel like doing my routine I do when I use the mousse. This gives great color, I put it on after my shower at night, sleep in it will usually wear it the next day until I shower at night. The color doesn’t drip and bleed if it gets wet like most tanners that have dye in it. Love eco tan, and love their safe tanning products!

I searched everywhere online for an organic tanning product that doesn't leave me orange, or olive, but just my natural tan color as I'd get from the sun. I found it! I'm light to medium skin toned so this product gives me a nice brown tan. Smells pleasant and stays on for about 5-7 days if I don't scrub in shower too much. Glad I found this product!
