We’ve won our fair share of awards over the past ten years, but nothing brings me more joy than learning that our not-for-profit Hand & Nail Cream has been recognised for its philanthropic heart.
Recently our Rafiki Mwema Hand & Nail Cream took home GOLD for Best Charity Body Care Product in the 2021 LUXlife Health, Beauty and Wellness Awards. To say that we’re over the moon here at Eco Tan HQ would be an understatement.
I’ve spoken about the meaning behind this product on the blog before, but it was created with the intention of healing more than just your hands and nails – although it has won awards for doing just that, too.
100% of the profits from every Rafiki Hand & Nail Cream go directly to the Rafiki Mwema Foundation, which provides protection, safe houses, therapeutic support and love for children who have suffered horrific abuse and violence in Kenya. These people do seriously amazing work, which is exactly why our not-for-profit collaboration is so dear to my heart.
We’ve raised more than $200,000 for the Rafiki Mwema Foundation since 2018. That means that everyone who has bought a Hand & Nail Cream to keep in their handbag or desk drawer has helped save precious young lives. And if you haven’t tried it – what are you waiting for? It won gold for a reason!
